Trip to Exeter!
Year 3 recently enjoyed a trip to Exeter as part of their Geography unit comparing a city with their local area. The children visited Exeter Cathedral, where they explored its history and learnt about its importance to the city. They then walked through the bustling city centre, observing busy streets, tall buildings, shops, and heavy traffic. Throughout the day, they compared features of Exeter with those of their own area, discussing transport, population, buildings, and services. The trip helped bring their learning to life and gave them a deeper understanding of what makes a city unique.
