  • Year 3 Family Involvement

    Published 04/12/25

Year 3’s Family Involvement Morning was a great success. Throughout the autumn term, the children have been learning about shell structures as part of their Design and Technology unit. To conclude their learning, pupils were challenged to design a net and construct a three-dimensional box suitable for holding a special item.

This week, parents and carers were invited into school to support the children in bringing their designs to life. It was wonderful to see families engaging enthusiastically as they cut, folded and assembled their creations together.

Both the children and the adults thoroughly enjoyed the morning, demonstrating creativity, problem-solving and pride in their finished products. We would like to thank all families who attended for their support and involvement. Events like these provide valuable opportunities to share learning, celebrate achievements and strengthen our school community.

The pupils walked down to the ancient stone monument where we were all amazed at the sheer size of the wonder of Stonehenge. The pupils asked many questions about how the stones got there, why they were there and what had happened at this incredible site.
