		<item>	<title><![CDATA[ Beautiful Botanicals at Bicton! ]]></title>
	<link>https://www.seatonprimary.org.uk/news/?pid=71&amp;nid=2&amp;storyid=65</link>	<description><![CDATA[<p>We enjoyed a fabulous day exploring the botanical wonders of Bicton Park and Gardens.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The children applied their sketching skills to draw a range of plants and flowers with a focus on shading, tone and lines.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>We enjoyed sunny weather as we walked through the grounds observing the gardens and learning lots about farming in agricultural museum.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

</item><item>	<title><![CDATA[ Year 4 Plastic Printing Workshop! ]]></title>
	<link>https://www.seatonprimary.org.uk/news/?pid=71&amp;nid=2&amp;storyid=64</link>	<description><![CDATA[<p>Local artist, Karen Bowskill delivered a fabulous printing workshop which supported our &#39;Plastic Pollution&#39; topic. We used beach plastic to make these ocean inspired tote bags. The children loved experimenting with the ink, creating shapes and patterns, and learning about the impact of plastic pollution on our local beaches.&nbsp;</p>

</item><item>	<title><![CDATA[ Y4 Community Beach Clean ]]></title>
	<link>https://www.seatonprimary.org.uk/news/?pid=71&amp;nid=2&amp;storyid=56</link>	<description><![CDATA[<p>Year 4 have been immersing themselves in our geography topic &quot;Save our Oceans&quot;.&nbsp; We were joined by the school&#39;s Eco Committee on our beach clean on Friday 1st March.&nbsp; Seaton town council kindly lent us litter pickers&nbsp;and hessian sacks to collect any rubbish found.&nbsp; We were shocked to find so much rubbish.&nbsp; The rubbish will be used for our printing workshop next week in which we will design a &quot;Save our Ocean&quot; tote bag.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
